FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Do I need special equipment or film gear to participate?
Nope! You can 100% do this challenge with what you already have on hand. You can use your smart phone to film, your house as your location, etc. You don't need to buy anything extra.
Can I participate and make a film alone?
Yes! The challenge is designed for solo filmmakers or a team. You can absolutely make a short film on your own and we will guide you through it!
What if I want to work with a team or my friends on a film together?
That's great! Invite your friends to register too so that they can get access to the accountability group, all the challenge perks, and get their own certificate of achievement! Only people who want the full perks should register, otherwise you can work with anyone you choose on your film. For example, if you have your sister stand in as an actor and your brother run the camera but they are not interested in participating in the challenge experience, that is totally fine and they don't need to register separately.
Do I need to prepare anything beforehand?
Not really. You can look at this challenge kinda like a virtual event! The best thing you can do to prepare is to block out and schedule some time every day during the challenge to complete your missions (aka daily filmmaking assignments). Besides that, you don't need to worry about pre-planning. You will receive additional directions once the challenge starts.
What if it takes me longer than 5 days to complete the challenge?
No problem! Once you register for the challenge, you will have lifetime access. That means that you can complete the challenge at your own convenience, and go through it for future short films you want to make whenever inspiration strikes!
How do I know this will work for me?
We can't guarantee you results, however if you commit to the program, play full out and show up every day, then you will learn the techniques on how to approach making a short film quickly, get more practice in, and expand your creativity!
